That nations move toward effective disarmament, especially nuclear disarmament, choosing dialogue and diplomacy over violence.
April For priests in crisis
That priests experiencing vocational crisis may receive accompaniment, and that communities support them with understanding and prayer.
May That everyone might have food
That all may commit to avoiding food waste and ensuring access to quality food for everyone.
June For the values of sports
That sports promote peace, encounter, dialogue, respect, solidarity, and personal growth.
July For respect for human life
That human life may be respected and protected at every stage, recognized as a gift from God.
August For evangelization in the city
That new and creative ways of proclaiming the Gospel emerge in cities marked by anonymity and loneliness.
September For the care of water
That water be managed justly and sustainably, so all may have equal access to this vital resource.
October For mental health ministry
That mental health ministry be established throughout the Church, overcoming stigma and discrimination.
November For the proper use of wealth
That wealth be used for the common good and solidarity, resisting selfishness.
